Assignment Three
|
Websites without graphics are like reading a dictionary. It's not fun
and potential visitors will run the other way. So let's add some.

Working with Graphics
|
It is time to add some graphic to your website (if they are not already there).
In this assignment we want to add a number of different conceptual tools that
utilize graphics. Your new additions should include:
-
Plain graphics --
Select a variety of graphics that relate to the theme of your website. Add them to
one or more of your web pages. These are just images that are used to make your
website more inviting and easier to understand.
-
Basic Graphics Navigation --
Create some graphics that a user can click on and have it take them to another
location. These locations can be any of the links we added last week. Hint --
use width and height to size your graphics to something smaller. Large graphic
links aren't usually the greatest to use for this part of your assignment
-
An Image Map --
In the lecture I showed you how to create an image map. A single image which
allows the user to go to multiple different locations based on where in the
image they click. Create at least 3 or more hotspots (links) on your image map.
Create 3 of the following types of links:
- circle
- rectangle
- polygon
