How Big is the Picture

• 300 dpi (dots per inch)
• dpi refers to the picture
• So a 4”x 6” picture at 300 dpi will be a :
• 4x300 = 1200 pixel
• 6x300 = 1800 pixel

So at 300 dpi you cannot display a standard picture on a high resolution monitor at the precision you scanned it
