One very useful characteristic of the Internet is the ability to acquire information on a specific topic. I want you to use the Internet to plan a vacation, make it somewhere that you are really interested in visiting. I want you to plan to stay at least 7 nights on this vacation but I do not want you to stay in the same hotel every night (you do not have to stay in the same city or country either, but if you travel I want to see how). I also want you to tell me how you are getting there and back and if you will be using any transportation while you are there. I want this vacation to be something that you would really like to go on. Extra credit can be given on any extra activities planned during your vacation (for example: operas, scuba excursions, etc.) Make it exciting. I have filled this one out so you have an idea of what I am looking for. (Your answers should be different than mine). I am going to Hawaii for 7 days, 4 days on Maui and 3 days on the big island. My trip begins on June 2nd and I return home on June 9th. I began by selecting a search engine "www.metacrawler.com". I then entered my destination into the search box: "vacation hawaii". I selected "www.hshawaii.com" from the list to get most of the information I wanted. I also used United Airlines site "www.ual.com" to get my airfare.
