What is a Trunk Line?

First of all I do not have to have trunk lines to implement a VLAN. I could run redundant lines between Switches

Trunk lines are most likly run between the main connectivity devices (usually a switch)

A Trunk line allows traffic from multiple VLANs to travel on it.
