Assignment Six - Dual Boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu using Grub
You were thinking Linux was gone, but no, it has returned (and really since Linux is the most used OS in the world it has to be on your lab machine). So in this lab we will put a Linux Ubuntu installation on the same computer as the Windows 10 install we did last week in a dual boot configuration
This is really not that hard. We will use Rufus to create our bootable flash drive (if you already have the one from the first Ubuntu install you can use it) to restart into a installation screen. The steps are:
  1. Place the Ubuntu flash drive into a USB port on your lab computer
  2. Use the appropriate UEFI/BIOS sequence to boot your lab computer to the Ubuntu flash drive
  3. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard for a generic installation, however, you should try to create 3 partitions
  4. Get your computer to a running state and verify all devices are working
Once you have completed this assignment, take 2 screen shots of your machine like the ones we did in the Ubuntu and Windows clean install lab AND one picture with your phone showing the Grub screen with your boot options

Assignment Submission Criteria

While your assignment will not be evaluated as stringently as it would if this were an English class, it is expected that you will make an effort to use capitalization, sentence structure and punctuation appropriately.
To turn in this assignment you will go to the Netacad Canvas shell for this class. Each assignment you need to turn in will have a submission link that will allow you to turn in that assignment
