Dual Boot vs Virtual Machine

• In the VM scenario both the Host OS and the Guest OS were running simultaneously, you could jump from one to the other
• In a Dual Boot (Multi-Boot) scenario only the OS you choose while in the Boot Loader will run

Most Boot Loaders will establish a “Default” OS which will start automatically if the user does not respond to the Boot Loader screen
