Systemd And The Other init Systems

Which commands do I use?

• Manually check SysV, Upstart, and Systemctl

– Remove unnecessary services or malware

Systemd is the default init system on all major Linux Distributions including Ubuntu

Systemctl updates config files for Sys-V and Upstart

Use Systemctl if possible on Ubuntu

Some services are Sys-V only, and haven’t been moved to Systemctl
