The Difference Command - diff

• This command allows you to compare files and have the computer tell you the difference. In order to see this we need a few files:

File 1: test-file-01.txt

Betty

Sam

Darian

Zepher

File 2: test-file-02.txt

Betty

Samantha

Darian

Zepher

This command uses a code to tell you what you need to do to the second file to make it the same as the first file

diff test-file-01.txt test-file-02.txt
