Backup Types

Full Backup - The most reliable way to ensure data availability, but can be expensive in bandwidth use and user response times

Incremental Backup - Backup only the data that has changed since the last Backup (of any kind)

Differential Backup - Backup only the data that has changed since the last Full Backup

Snapshot - A copy of part of the Data as of a point in time
