Loopback Plug

A Loopback plug can be used to test the connections on your Network Interface (NIC)

Note: This is different from your Loopback Address, the special reserved IPv4 address 127.0.0.1

This address can also be used to test your Network Interface (NIC)

IPv6 Uses something called a "Link-Local" address to perform this function
