The Global Unicast Address is the Public and Routable address similar to a IPv4 Public address (JARA – Just Another Regular Address)

* A Global Unicast Address could be any available non-reserved IPv6 Address, but at this time the only addresses being assigned begin with either a 2 or a 3 (2000::/3 or 0010 and 0011 in the first Nibble)

Notice the reserved Addresses for Documentation fall in this range so documentation is using an address that looks like a GUA
