Configure a Router as Stateless DHCPv6 Server
The stateless DHCPv6 server option requires that the router advertise the IPv6 network addressing information in RA messages
There are 6 steps to configure & verify a router as a stateless DHCPv6 server:
- Enable IPv6 routing
- Define a DHCPv6 pool name
- Configure DHCPv6 pool with options
- dns-server X:X:X:X:X:X:X:X
- domain-name name
- Bind the interface to the pool
- ipv6 dhcp server POOL-NAME
- Change the O flag from 0 to 1
- ipv6 nd other-config-flag
Verify Functionality ipconfig /all
