Port Security Violation Mode Command - Restrict

The output of the show port-security interface command confirms that the change has been made

In Restrict Mode:

The port drops packets with unknown source addresses (*1)

Causes the Security Violation counter to increment

Generates a syslog message

(*1) until you remove a sufficient number of secure MAC addresses to drop below the maximum value or increase the maximum value
