Extra Credit #1 -- How A Relational Database Works

In this assignment you will create a less than 1 page description of how
a relational database works.

| Your description should include it's building blocks, how you get
information out of it and any other concepts you think are significant
to the relational database design.

The function of this deliverable is to have you create a discussion you
could use in an interview to show your level of understanding of how modern
relational databases work. So when you get done, put yourself in the shoes
of a potential hiring manager. If you asked the question "Tell me what you
know about Relational Databases" -- would the response you created to
this question be worth hiring you ??
