Assignment 2 -- Make An Assessment Of Your Team
In this assignment you will create a profile of each member of your team.
Follow the instructions below to meet the requirements of this assignment:
The Primary Assignment:
So far in the class we have performed at least one group exercise.
I have (and will) continue to intentionally have you work in the
same groups for upcoming exercises.
Here, I want you to catagorize your team members. Use as
much from the class as you can. Refer to the lectures online if
necessary. You should be able to rank each person on at least 3
scales. Limit your analysis to under 250 words for each person.
If you do not have at least 50 words on a person keep working at it.
Add To Your Analysis:
Research the DISC personality profile system. You might find a free test
but I doubt it. They are pretty good at getting money for their tests.
But you can research what it is about.
Wikipedia
has a page on it. Expand your analysis to include DISC categories for
your team members. Create a summary for me. I would expect that if you
did this correctly you would have a page or so on each Team member. Reduce
this to a 1 paragraph summary for each person.
And Now For The Fun Part:
You'll need to send a copy of the full 1 page review you created to each
of the team members that you evaluated. This means you should receive
2 or 3 reviews of you. At the bottom of your summary, comment on the
accuracy of the reviews about you -- keep it to 1 paragraph.
Assignment Submission Criteria
To turn in this assignment you will go to the NSC Canvas shell for this
class. Submit the following:
- Your team assessment (under 250 words for each
group member)
- Your summary for me of the DISC personality
profile to include DISC categories for your team members
- A 1 paragraph comment at the bottom of your
summary to me on the accuracy of the reviews about you
Your assignment needs to be in a format that everyone can read. This
includes formats like: .pdf, .rtf, .odt, .doc and .docx
Hybrid Class Assignment -- Personality Profile
For this assignment, you will evaluate 2 personality
profiles that are available on the internet. I would assign some more
well known ones but each of them cost money to use and I did not want
to add to the cost of the class.
You should answer the questions truthfully or as truthfully as you would
expect someone working for you to answer them. You are not just looking
for how you get ranked, you are also looking at how accurate you feel the
test is.

Take the personality profile. Attempt to answer the questions
truthfully. If unsure, go with your first instinct

Take a screen shot of your type and copy it into a document
(You can use LibreOffice Write, Word or .pdf)

Click on the upper left hand square titled "XXXX Type Description"
(where the XXXX listed is your type like ENFJ, INFP or any other
type you have been determined to be)

Take a screen shot of this page and add it to your document

Write 1 to 2 paragraphs (around 100 words) evaluating the test.
Did it peg you just right or is it completely off base ??

Find a second free personality test online and complete the above
steps for it as well. Then add them to your document.
Hybrid Assignment Submission

- Required screen shots from all personality tests you took online
(at least two)
- 1 to 2 paragraphs (around 100 words) per test you took -- evaluating
each one
