Assignment Six -- Resource Load Your Project Plan
In this assignment you will use the event you outlined in Assignment 1 and created a time-based plan for in Assignment 4. You will resource load this plan with the people, facilities, equipment, supplies and cost needed to complete the event.

Every task should have at least 1 resource assigned to it. Some tasks can have more. No milestones should have resources assigned to them.
  • Find the resource list for the planning tool you are using. Enter all the resources you know you will need. Don't worry, you can add resources as you proceed.
  • Step through each activity in the plan. Determine what resources are needed to complete it. Be sure to indicate if a task only requires part of a resource.
  • View the resource profile for your project. Did you over allocate? If so fix it by resource leveling or smoothing.

Hybrid Class Assignment - Using Project Management Software
The assignment above is a significant undertaking if you do it correctly. So the Hybrid Class assignment for this week is done in conjunction with the weekly lab assignment.
  • Evaluate: Did adding your resources allow you to maintian your timeline ? If not, what are your options for recovering your timeline ?
  • Proof of Completion: I will need 2 items for your proof of completion:
    1. I want your project file for your Project Planning software (.pod) so I can download and run your plan
    2. I need verification you are aware of your critical path. So I want a deliverable (as defined in the PMBOK) that identifies your critical path
