Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada

The Official South end of the Alaska Highway 		 
  Dawson Creek is a small town in a rolling hills landscape. If you head East into Alberta, the landscape gets flat real quick. One one trip we stayed an extra day in Dawson Creek so we could do a day trip into Alberta.  
   
   
   
 
All these pictures are at the new Alaska Highway monument in the center of town. The old (and actual real monument) is 2 blocks south but is not very photogenic.
