Remember What a VLAN is

Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN) allow you to operate multiple logical networks on one physical network

If you are going to Manage your Network remotely, you do not want the Network you use to Manage to be the same as the Network everyone else is using to pass data

All Cisco Switches come with VLAN 1 configured as the default

People (hackers) will use this default to your disadvantage to access your system

So Don’t use VLAN 1
