How to Configure your Management VLAN

To configure your Switch for a management VLAN you will need to connect a computer to the Switch Console Port and run Terminal Emulation software (like PuTTY or Tera Term) on the Computer

Once in the CLI you will need to provide at a minimum:

A VLAN IP

A VLAN Subnet Mask (IPv4)

A Gateway Address

Once a Management VLAN is configured, you can Manage the switch from a computer connected via a standard patch cable
