Once the Root Bridge is Determined the STA calculates the best path from all destinations in the Broadcast Domain
These calculations are called the “Internal Root Path”
The Internal Root Path is the Sum of the individual ingress port costs from the subject switch to the Root Bridge
The Default cost of a port is the speed at which it operates based on this table
The System Administrator can manually configure the port costs
