CAPWAP Functionality

• Encapsulates and forwards WLAN client traffic between an Access Point and a Wireless LAN Controller over tunnels using UDP ports 5246 and 5247
• Operates with IPv4 and IPv6
• IPv4 uses IP protocol 17 (UDP)
• IPv6 uses IP protocol 136 (Lightweight UDP)
