Early Schedule & Late Schedule

• An Early Schedule takes all the “slack time” and places it at the end of the plan. As tasks run over this slack time is used up
• A Late Schedule or “Setback Schedule” places all the “slack time” at the start of the schedule
• In a Late Schedule, If a task runs over, there is no margin. For this reason setback schedules are only used for sequences with well known durations
