Foreign Aid
As it is not the responsibility of the US to police the world it is also not the responsibility of the US to single handedly provide aid to all the nations of the world. Once again it is our opinion that this is a job for the United Nations and the United States should participate proportionately.
While we recognize that having a world where all the nations are stable because their people are not poverty stricken is a favorable condition, we also realize that the United States cannot be solely responsible for creating these conditions. We also recognize that contributions from neighboring nations organized by the United Nations, is far more likely to have favorable results.
Now to this point we have been referring to humanitarian aid (food and medical supplies). We do not consider arms to be foreign aid. It is our belief that if any arms are to change hands it should be done by the United Nations. In fact we prefer that if the presence of arms is needed in a region they should be in the hands of UN soilders.
